Description

The pre-solicitation notice for this procurement was previously N62470-02-R-2024. This procuremnt is a Best Value Source Selection for Pier 11 Replacement, Norfolk Naval Base, Norfolk, Virginia. Work includes demolition of an existing concrete pier (Pier 11); timber piers (Piers G&H), timber finger piers that project off of Pier 11, and a cellular sheetpile breakwater; dredging of the pier footprint and construction of a new double deck concrete Pier 11 and concrete relieving platform and incidental related work. The approximate Solicitation Release Date is 01 December 2004. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the Internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files, can be downloaded from the Adobe website. The official access to the solicitation is via the Internet at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when down loading from the NAVFAC E- Solicitation website. Lack of registration in the CCR database on the part of the offeror will make an offeror ineligible for award.
