- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with National Instruments, Austin, TX for the purpose of purchasing twenty (20) NI-VXIpc-872B (P/N 778296-01) embedded controllers with Windows 2000 and 256 MB memory upgrades (P/N 778469-256) installed. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own drawings or specifications. The government has previously qualified these commercial parts for use in the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS), which are identical with existing embedded controllers. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. There will be no solicitation available for this procurement.
