Description: The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain fully contractor operated and maintained helicopter services that will be used on an on call basis to support Department of the Interior bureaus and offices natural resource programs in aerial capture, eradication and tagging of animals (ACETA). The Contractor(s) will be required to hold a current Federal Aviation Administration air carrier or operating certificate. All aircraft used will be required to be operated and maintained under the provisions of Title 14 CFR Part 135. Contractor shall also be certificated under 14 CFR Part 133, Rotorcraft External Load Operations. The term of the contract will be one year. Projected solicitation issue and closing dates are approximately October 29, 2004 and November 17, 2004. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be mailed. Before an award of a contract can be made, a successful offeror(s) are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). See numbered note 1 (set-aside for small business). The solicitation will be available online at www.fedbiopps.gov or www.oas.gov.
