- DESC: Contractor to provide preparation of household goods for shipment/storage for the following areas: Area 1 Iowa counties as follows: Blackhawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Cerro Gordo, Chickasaw, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Grundy, Hardin, Howar d, Mitchell, Winneshiek, Worth. Area 2 Iowa Counties as follows: Allamakee, Clayton, Delaware, Dubuque, Jackson, and Jones. Illinois counties as follows: Carroll, Jo Davies, Stephenson, and Whiteside. Area 3 Iowa counties of Appanoose, Benton, Davi s, Iowa, Jasper, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Linn, Lucas, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Monroe, Poweshiek, Tama, Van Buren, Wapello, Washington, and Wayne. Missouri counties of Adair, Clark, Knox, Lewis, Putman, Schuyler, Scotland, and Sullivan. Area 4 Io wa counties of Cedar, Clinton, Des Moines, Henry, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine, and Scott. Illinois counties of Henderson, Henry, Knox, Mercer, Rock Island, and Warren. Inbound and Outbound services in each area to be awarded to one bidder. Type of KT: Indefi nite Delivery Indefinite Quantity. Estimated start and completion dates are 01 JAN 2005 through DEC 2005 with four (1 Year)option years. Appproximate issue date is 5 NOV 2004 with opening date 30 days from issue. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed contract listed here is restricted to small business. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments theret o. This solicitation incorporates Appendex G, Performance Work Statement for Packing, Containerization and Local Drayage of Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Personal Property Shipments and Attachments G-1 (Figures), G-2 (Publications and Commercial Standards ), G-3 (Contractor Documents Requirements Listings), G-4 (Definitions)and G-5 (Acronyms) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors will need these in order to prepare a bid or proposal and are instructed to request same by submission of an email r equest to: pat.cahill@us.army.mil.
