- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. The reference number is F73ALW429301 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 541519 and small business size standard is $21,000,000. Required service is for an upgrade of existing programmable multimedia presentation system. The upgrade wil be a combination of part of the existing equipment integrated with specific new equipment, hardwired in concert with a new touch panel monitor. Interested parties may contact TSgt Rodriguez for a copy of the Statement of Work. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this solicitation. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Paragraph (a) of FAR 52.212-2 is added to read: (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The contractor certifies that it meets all requirements by submitting a quotation. This solicitation is issued under lowest price technically acceptable procedures. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses identified at paragraph (b) of FAR 52.212-5 is considered checked and is applicable to this acquisition: (13), (14), (15), (16), (17), (18), (19) (24), and (29). The following FAR clauses identified at paragraph (c) of FAR 52.212-5 is considered checked and is applicable to this acquisition: (1), and (2). The clause 52.237-1, Site Visit (Apr 1984), applies to this acquisition. Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. A site visit has been scheduled for 01 Nov 04, at 2:00 PM EST. All parties are to meet at the 43 Contracting Squadron conference room. Please notify contract adminitrator of your attendance prior to site visit . To be awarded this contract, contractor must be registered in CCR The defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) is not applicable to this acquisition.
