Item 0001 is HOUSING. NSN: 2840011679589RV P/N: 800221. The item description ? The gear box housing assembly is a casting which is somewhat oval in shape. This Housing incorporates bearing and accessory mounting studs. The function of the gearbox housing is it is used to mount the fuel control and hydraulic pump to the engine. The gearbox drives the accessories to deliver fuel to the engine. The dimensions are 26 inches long, 13 inches wide by 6.5 inches high approximately. Materials ? magnesium alloy overall. Application: Engine TF-33. Quantity 61 EA. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-3032. Requested Delivery: October 2005. Government/Commercial, new/unused surplus is acceptable. The approximate issue date of solicitation will be 17 November, 2004. The anticipated award date is January 2005. This item is a competitive, small business set-aside. First Article Provisions apply. Technical data package will be available. Export control provisions will apply. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Written quotations are required. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered.
