Description

The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations to provide VA Medical Centers at Hines, IL and Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago, IL with their requirements for milk and dairy products. Anticipated period of performance is December 1, 2004 through November 30, 2005. Contract type is firm-fixed price. Anticipated award effective date is November 30, 2004. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about October 29, 2004. Responses are due in my office November 22, 2004 by 4:30 pm, CST. This procurement is being conducted under the Subpart 13.5 test program where simplified acquisition procedures apply and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13, or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. NAICS number is 424430, Dairy Product Merchant Wholesalers. Electronic solicitation may be obtained FREE at the following URL: http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the GLAC Contact Point and accompanied by a check for $5.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. No telephone requests will be accepted. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
