Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Northwest Mountain Region has a requirement for the Relocation/Installation of Equipment and Materials at the new ASR-9 at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Seattle, WA. THIS ACQUISITION IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS BUSNIESS CONCERNS (SB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210. For these codes a small business is defined as a concern, which has annual average gross revenue of $12.0 million dollars or less during the last three fiscal years. SCOPE: The scope of this procurement includes, but is not limited to the following: Site work: includes, site preparation, earthwork, elevator catwalks, HVAC install, and seeding. Concrete work: includes, formwork, site fence. Electrical work: Engine generator room, E/G building electrical work, elevator E/G TASR Van Power, facility grounding. The site location for this procurement effort is listed below: Airport Surveillance Radar Seattle 16824 8th Place South Seatac, WA 98158 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: $250,000 - $500,000. The resultant shall be a firm fixed price contract. Award selection shall be made on the basis of Best Value to the FAA. Among the evaluation factors are: (a) experience working at an active FAA airport, and (b) experience in commercial removal/installation of an ASR-9 facility, price and other related factors. The anticipated issuance date of the Request for Proposals (RFP) DTFANM-05-R-00003 is on or about November 8, 2004.
