- Description
- This is a notice of intent to award on a sole-source basis for the commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Citizenship & Immigration Services (CIS) intends to contract with California Masonic Memorial Temple / Nob Hill Masonic Center, 1111 California Street, San Francisco, CA 94108 for 22 dates of convention center use throughout fiscal year 2005. An acceptable facility shall accommodate approximately 3,000 people, and in additiona to the rental of the hall itself, shall include lobby space, chairs & tables, easels, stantions, ropes, USA & CA flags, stage lights, lecturn & microphone, draperies, traffic officer, security guards, stagehand/sound operator, electricity, and custodial services, handicapped access, and located within San Francisco. Dates of service required are approximately two per month, between 7am and 12 noon. This contract is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with California Masonic Memorial Temple / Nob Hill Masonic Center under the authority 41 U.S.S. 253 ( c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 unless additional sources are located. This notice is being solicited on a sole-source basis.
