Description
The General Services Administration (GSA) hereby notifies of the intent to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Design, Construction, Testing and Delivery of Prototype Steel, Specimen Storage Tanks. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment to provide innovative, fully operational prototype tanks based on the specifications and testing requirements described in the RFP. Estimated Cost Range is less than $100,000. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339111. Size standard of 500 employees. Estimated Performance Period: 150 calendar days. The Offeror may propose an alternate delivery schedule; favorable consideration will be given to a reduced scheduled. The duration proposed by the offeror, if selected, shall become the official time of performance for this contract. The "Best Value Continuum" is the method that will be used to evaluate price and other factors specified in the solicitation, with the goal being to select the proposal that offers the best value to the Government in terms of performance, quality and pricing. The objective is to select the proposal that offers the most for the money, without necessarily basing selection on the lowest price. GSA intends to upload the RFP at this site on or about 14 day from the date of this posting. This site provides instructions for downloading the RFP. YOU ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF UPLOAD OF THE RFP AT THIS SITE AND REGISTER ON THE INTERESTED VENDOR LIST (IVL). In accordance with the requirements of the RFP and as stated in the RFP, proposals shall be submitted approximately 30 days after posting of the solicitation at this website and shall be submitted to the following address: GSA, NCR, ROB, Bid Activity (WPY) - Room 1065, Seventh and D Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20407. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business concerns. However, this procurement is being made under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Women-Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit and so state that they are Women-Owned. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. All responsible offerors must be CCR registered to be considered for award. Instructions for submission of proposals will be contained in the solicitation package.
