- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and following the simplified acquisition procedures in FAR part 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number 6TSA-05-JMT-0003 is being issued as a request for proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. This procurement is for the following: UHF SATELLITE TRACKERS: CLIN 1) QTY. 10, #IC600-PBR, UHF Xmtr; CLIN 2) QTY. 30, #IC203-PP, UHF Xmtr; CLIN 3) QTY. 10, #IC203-SP, UHF Xmtr; CLIN 4) QTY. 10, #IC200-C, UHF Xmtr; CLIN 5) QTY. 5, #IC900-FB, UHF Xmtr; CLIN 6) QTY. 5, #IC300-L, UHF Xmtr; CLIN 7) QTY. 5, #IC950-E, UHF Xmtr; CLIN 8) QTY. 5, #IC980-V, UHF Xmtr; CLIN 9) QTY. 5, #RF1100-FP, UHF Xmtr; CLIN 10) QTY. 4, #RF1200-IB, UHF Xmtr; CLIN 11) QTY. 2, #RF1300-E, UHF Xmtr; CLIN 12) QTY. 5, #RF1400-CDI, UHF Xmtr; CLIN 13) QTY. 5, #RF1500-SPTT, UHF Xmtr. NOTES: Each of these parts contain an identical UHF satellite transmitter for use as a data dissemenation device. Each transmitter is packaged in a unique enclosure for its respective custom application. GSA has approved a brand name justification in accordance with FAR 6.302(c ), these are the only items that meet the Government?s requirement. This procurement is for the Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA. Please include all requirements on quotations. No partial quotes. No substitutions. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. In addition to the guidance contained in FAR 52.212-4, contractors shall submit proof of delivery with their invoices. Proof of delivery may be in the form of a bill of lading or other shipping document signed by the receiving office. Invoices received without proof of delivery will not be accepted. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
