- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound intends to lease washers & dryers with maintenance and repair service for various locations in the Northwest Region. The washers and dryers will be located in the Bachelor Housing areas. The number of machines and locations are as follows; 177 washers, 4 dryers, 274 stack dryers and 74 washer/dryers combos at Naval Air Station Whidbey; 29 washers, 42 dryers and 7 x-large dryers at Naval Station Everett; 72 washers, 67 dryers and 20 stack dryers at Naval Base Kitsap Bremerton; 45 washers and 66 stack dryers at the Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor Delta Pier. This is a 100% small business set-aside only small businesses will be considered. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO website on or about November 02, 2004. A firm fixed priced service type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The desired delivery and the start of service is December 01, 2004. Period of performance is one year with four one-month option periods. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by FISC Puget Sound. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and to frequently monitoring that site for any amendments, The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. Electronic submission of quotes is not available at this time.
