- Description
- Department of the Navy has a requirement for Accounting and Financial support Services in support of the implementation of the Department of the Navy Financial Improvement Plan in order to coply with the Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990 as amended by the Government Mnagers Reform Act of 1994 which requires all government agencies to prepare audited financial statements. The broad description of the tasks that are considered to be the scope of this requirement include Accounting Operations (corrective actions associated with accounting transactions), Validations (discovery and collection of documentation necessary to complete validation packages), and Recording of Property with the majority of the level of effort required by the Validation portion. The government is contemplating full and open competition for this requirement which should result in multiple awards of Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contracts with competitive task orders being issued for the work required. The ordering period will be for a base period of one year with four one-year option periods. The work will be required to be performed primarily in various CONUS locations, however it may entail some OCONUS locations as well. The NAICS Code is 541219 and the size standard is $7M.
