- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst is seeking to procure services to certify Mobile Facilities (MF's) in accordance with 49 CFR 450, International Convention for Safe Containers (CSC). The MF is a mobile habitable shelter that is 8 feet wide by twenty feet long by 8 feet high. MF's are procured with valid CSC inspection plates, however, when they are configured for their mission, modifications may be performed that invalidate the CSC plates. In order to maintain compliance it is required that modifications to the shelter be approved via a plan review, or a physical test, and that compliance is documented.
