- Description
- Eielson AFB is seeking qualified 8(a) contractors to provide Operation and Maintenance and Repair of Wastewater Pretreatment Systems. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to operate, maintain, and repair wastewater pretreatment systems at Eielson Air Force Base (AFB), Alaska. The contractor shall operate, service, clean, maintain, and repair wastewater pretreatment systems (oil-water separators) and related equipment (grit traps and connecting drains) in accordance with local, state, federal regulations. The contractor shall perform all work according to the appropriate industry standards. The contractor shall ensure that wastewater flow through the pretreatment systems is maintained in a manner that will prevent the cause of nuisance orders and prevent service interruptions. The contractor shall establish a service call system that is responsive to all types of service requests. The intent of this pre-solicitation notice is to determine if there are a reasonable number of 8(a) contractors with a primary NAICS code of 562998 to use competitive 8(a) procedures for this upcoming acquisition.
