- South Carolina State University has entered into a cooperative agreement with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to serve as the National Summer Transportation Institute (NSTI) Resource Center (RC), and is requesting proposals for transportation institute host sites for the summer of 2005.************ The purpose of the NSTYI is to increase the number of qualified persons pursuing transportation related careers by exposing junior high and high school students to various transportation related careers and all modes of transportation. Participants spend four weeks on some of the most prestigious college/university campuses in the country.************** The request for proposals is posted on the NSTI website at www.nrc.scsu The closing date is December 20, 2004.************* QUESTIONS: Questions on RFA content, issues, or procedures should be submitted in writing to the NSTI Resource Center Point of Contact (POC), Dr. Clarence W. Hill, via email to cwhill@scsu.edu, or by facsimile to (803) 516-4693. Questions may be submitted and answers will be provided by the RC at the RFA website http://www.nrc.scsu.edu . The questions will be made available for clarification to this RFA up to 5 days prior to the closing/due date of the RFA.
