Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Gilmer, West Virginia, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Colours, Inc., Bridgeport, WV, for 3M solids base and top coating and other supplies to be utilized in a shower renovation project. The procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The supply items to be awarded are: 100% solids top and base coating, primer, caulk, brushes, water proofer, stripper, roller covers and tape. To the best of our knowledge, these products can only be purchased from a 3M distributor. Any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written or faxed notification to the Contracting Officer with 10 calender days from the date of this published synopsis. Supporting evidence can be sent to FCI Gilmer, Attn: Michelle Conway, PO Box 5000, Glenville, WV, 26351. Information can be faxed to 304-626-2695. All responses will be evaluated, but the Government has the discretion not to compete this proposed procurement. If no responses are received, FCI Gilmer will proceed with the sole source negotiated with Colours, Inc.
