Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of various subsistence dairy products for the Federal Correctional Institution located at 4004 East Arkona Road, Milan, Michigan. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period. The estimated yearly quantities for the base year period are as follows: 420,000, ? pint cartons of fresh, 1% Milk; 420,000, ? pint cartons of fresh skim milk; 3,550, ? pint cartons of fresh, chocolate milk; 700, 5 lb. containers of small curd, Cottage Cheese; 800, 5 lb. containers of Sour Cream; 250, ? gallon cartons of fresh, grade A pasteurized Egg Nog. The solicitation will be available on or about November 1, 2004 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about November 12, 2004. The solicitation is unrestricted.
