- The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) intends to solicit comments on a draft RFP for a 5-year Cost Plus Award Fee requirement to provide policy assistance on family planning/reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, and maternal health issues in approximately 30 countries. The RFP will cover work on policy adoption and implementation, strengthening and support of public sector and civil society champions, increased and more effective and equitable allocation of health sector resources, strengthened multi-sectoral engagement in health programs, and provision of timely and accurate data for decision-making. The preferred method of distributing the USAID Procurement information will be through Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov). It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or around November 23, 2004. It is the responsibility of the recipient of this solicitation to ensure that it has been received in its entirety and USAID bears no responsibility for data error resulting from this transmission.
