Description

DESC: Chiller Operation and Maintenance. The item to procure are services that encompass but are not limited to: scheduled and unscheduled services, all labor, equipment, and material to perform maintenance and repairs, alteration, and minor construc tion to the real property facilities and installed equipment in-place at Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL; operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs to ten comfort cooling chillers, one chiller barrel, and four year-round cooling loop chi llers; operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs to cooling towers, water treatment, and associated equipment; provide cooling and non-cooling season preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance on cooling towers and pumping systems; p rovide scheduled and unscheduled predictive maintenance on various pieces of equipment associated with the chiller and cooling tower systems and perform routine maintenance and repairs on such equipment; operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and make minor repa irs to the chilled water distribution system; and provide unscheduled services including, but not limited to, individual maintenance, repair, alteration, or minor construction including all other work described on approved Service Orders and Individual Job Orders. Work will be performed at Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. Estimated issue date is 5 November 2004. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list.
