- Provide all administration, supervision, personnel, services, materials, equipment, tools, and transportation necessary to perform Grounds Maintenance and Turf Care for Fort Benning, Georgia. Basic services include mowing, trimming, edging, grounds raking, cemetary maintenance, and herbicide application. The period of performance will be 01 January 2005 through 31 December 2005 with four one-year options. This requirement is 100% set-aside for hubzone small business concerns. For determining busine ss size on this project, the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 / $6 Million. It is the Governments intent to issue the solicitation and amendments (if any) electronically via the Internet. Upon release to th e public, entire solicitation will be released solely on the Internet at http://www.benning.army.mil/doc/Solicitations (paper copies will not be available). All prospective offerors are responsible for obtaining any amendments, the solicitation or any oth er information from the Fort Benning Directorate of Contracting (D.O.C.) website. It is therefore the responsibility of the Contractor to check the D.O.C. website frequently/daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors wishing to do busi ness with the Government must be registered in the CCR for any awards resulting from solicitations issued after 01 January 1998 or the contractor will not be eligible for award.
