- The Flathead National Forest will be advertising a Request for Proposals to provide fixed-wing aircraft services for administrative flights as well as aerial detection and transporting of fire personnel and cargo, Flathead and Lake Counties, Montana. Two aircraft are needed consisting of a 6-place minimum and a 4-place minimum with mandatory performance periods and corresponding minimum guarantees. Issue date, approximately November 5, 2004. Contract period is 1 year with option to renew for 2 additional years.
