- DESC: NSN: 1375-01-517-4792. The Blasting Machine provides a means to initiate electrical Blasting Caps, Shock tube with caps (M11, M12, M13, M15 and M16), and the Mine Clearing Line Charge (MICLIC) systems for the Combat Engineers and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal personnel. The blasting machine will be procured in accordance with Description for Purchase (DFP-002) dated 23 June 2004. Quantities are not known at this time, but it is anticipated that 200 each will be the initial quantity to proc ure. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract in accordance with FAR 16.504. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date of the solicitation and DFP for this item is estimated to be July 15, 2004. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by acces sing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
