- Description
- The U.S. Special Operations Command intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) H92241-05-R-0002 to acquire CAAS technical and engineering support. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price, non-commercial, non-personal services contract with a one year base period plus four one-year option periods. The Contractor shall provide avionics engineering and technical support services for the CAAS (Common Avionics Architecture System) program for U.S. Special Operations Command aircraft. Work includes technical, analytical, and programmatic support. The contractor shall have the ability to review and provide recommendations to the Technology Applications Program Office on technical proposals, test plans, test reports, and other technical documents, and plan and attend design reviews. A security clearance is required. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination, Fort Eustis, VA, by the Government. This RFP does not provide for full and open competition. Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is FAR 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The intended source is Fuqua Consulting Inc., Omaha, NE. Solicitation issue date is expected to be o/a 4 Nov 2004. Proposals must be delivered to U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, Attn.: AMSAT-D-TK, 401 Lee Blvd., Fort Eustis, VA 23604-5577, by the time to be stated in the RFP. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however, any proposals submitted by responsible sources will be considered.
