- Description
- The U.S. Special Operations Command intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) H92241-05-R-0001 to acquire color cathode ray tube (CRT) power supplies, Honeywell Inc. part number 2822060-4, for use on U.S. Special Operations Command aircraft. The Government intends to award a three year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a minimum order quantity of 150 each and a maximum order quantity of 250 each. Inspection and acceptance shall be at origin, Teterboro, NJ, by the Government. All items shall be delivered to the USSOCOM Warehouse, Lexington, KY. DPAS assigned rating is DO-A1. This RFP does not provide for full and open competition. Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is FAR 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The intended source is Honeywell Defense Avionics Systems, Teterboro, NJ. Technical data (engineering drawings and/or specifications) is not available. Only Honywell Inc. has the resources and technical capability to provide this item within the required delivery time. Solicitation issue date is expected to be o/a 10 Nov 2004. Proposals must be delivered to U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, Attn.: AMSAT-D-TK, 401 Lee Blvd., Fort Eustis, VA 23604-5577, by the time to be stated in the RFP. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however any proposals submitted by responsible sources will be considered.
