- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command.? The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue solicitation number N00024-04-R-5481 for the follow-on procurement of Navigation Shiphandling, Seamanship Training Systems (NSST), logistics support and systems maintenance. The contractor shall provide NSST systems capable of simulating total shipboard bridge operation situations, including open ocean maneuvering and advanced maneuvering in restricted waterways, for safe navigation and collision avoidance. Any resulting contract from this soli! citation will be a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Item contract. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on the FBO and NECO sites (http://www.eps.gov or http://www.neco.navy.mil ) on or about 20 OCTOBER 2004. All interested companies should contact Pamela Grant, SEA 02542, by 8 OCTOBER 2004 to be placed on the bidder?s list and to schedule product set-up at the U.S. Naval Academy.
