- Description
- The contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to demolish a bridge and construct a new bridge at the same location. Scope to include temporary re-routing of utilities on the existing bridge during demolition and construction. The NAICS code is 237310. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated range for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The estimated release date is November 23, 2004. The Government intends on issuing this solicitation through the use of the internet. All prospective offerors must register on the web-site. The entire solicitation, with drawings will be available for viewing and downloading at http://www.esol.navfac.mil. Amendments will be posted on the internet. A pre-bid site visit is anticipated, the schedule will be provided in the solicitation. Proposals shall be submitted to: Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Midwest, 201 Decatur Avenue, Building 1-A, Great Lakes, Illinois 60088-2801. Proposal must be received no later than 3:00 P.M.(local time) on January 3, 2005. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted 10 days prior to due date of proposals. For this acquisition, it has been determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) firms serviced by the Illinois District Office. All other fims are deemed ineligible to submit offers. Firms must comply with FAR 52.219-14 (b) (3) to perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Priced, Best Value to the Government with evaluating factors being, Technical Experience, Past Performance and Price.
