PRON: AX462540AX, NSN: 1650-01-311-2580, PN: 145H6643-3 QUANTITY: Min: 400 each/Max: 2000; 5 Year Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract, app licable to the CH-47 Airframe, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This is a Flight Safety Part. This item is restricted to Boeing, Cage Code 77272 , Transaero, Cage Code 27541, and HTD Aerospace Inc, Cage Code 33068, because this part requir es engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. A Contractor First Article is required. Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 400 each, 300 Days After contract Award (DACA). Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 400 each, 209 DACA. Production Lead-time with Article II Clause is 400 each, 300 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identi fy themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation require ments. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (Title 22, USC., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) OR THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT (Title 50, USC., APP 2401-2402) EXECUTI VE ORDER 121470. THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE RELEASED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE GOVERNMENT NOTES: 23 and 26.
