PRON: AX4C0673AX, NSN: 4140-00-944-2557, PN: 114E4041-2 QUANTITY: Min: 100 each/Max: 900; 5 Year Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract, appl icable to the CH-47 Airframe, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This is a Flight Safety Part. This item is restricted to Boeing, Cage Code 77272 and Hamilton Sunstrand, Cage Code 99167. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing sourc e(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualificat ion testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data right s are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. No First Article is required. Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 209 Days After contract Award (DACA). Firms that can produce the required item described above ar e encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR ) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded t hat all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. NOTES: 23 and 26.
