AMENDMENT #1 TO FA8601-05-T-0001, FLEET SERVICES SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS HEREBY CANCELLED. IT IS BEING REPLACED BY SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FA8601-05-R-0005. THE REQUIREMENT HAS NOT CHANGED. PLEASE VISIT THE WEBPAGE FOR FA8601-05-R-0005 FOR FURTHER INFORMATION. ********************************************************** FA8601-05-T-0001, FLEET SERVICES SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Solicitation number FA8601-05-T-0001 is a Sources Sought Synopsis. A further request for quote (RFQ) may or may not be issued. The United States Air Force, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Contracting Squadron (88 CONS/PKSB), is anticipating a competitive acquisition for fleet services for the C-141 and C-5 aircraft assigned to the 445th Airlift Wing. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, material, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the Aircraft Fleet Service Operations at the 445th Airlift Wing in accordance with the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS), which is posted as an attachment to this sources sought synopsis on the Worldwide Web at http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil/ under sources sought synopsis number FA8601-05-T-0001. This sources sought synopsis is issued to determine if there are contractors capable of and interested in providing this service. Responding vendors must provide a Capabilities Package that includes evidence of their ability to perform the tasks outlined in the PWS. These tasks include but are not limited to: a. In-Flight Service: delivering government provided expendable items and ice water/potable water; trash removal; servicing aircraft-installed water systems; pick up and delivery of coffee and lunches. b. Remain Over Night (RON) Service: cleaning flight deck, galley, lavatories, comfort pallets, and portable lavatories, troop and courier compartments, and cargo compartments. c. Lavatory Service: clean lavatory and all surrounding areas, use liquid or solid deodorant in urinals, replenish lavatory supplies, discharge and dispose of lavatory residue in a Lavatory Service Truck (LST), empty and flush LST at least twice a week at the base sewage disposal station. d. Cleaning of single, two-pack, and three-pack aircraft seats in accordance with Air Force T.O. IC-5A-23, Section 1. e. International and Domestic Waste Service: Disposing of waste in accordance with the USDA regulation CFR 330.400 and Title 9 CFR 94.5. f. Sanitation of Equipment: cleaning food and beverage racks in Fleet Service Sanitizing Facility. g. Aircraft Equipment Discrepancies: Notify appropriate government maintenance supervisor of all aircraft equipment discrepancies. h. Transient Alert aircraft: Provide fleet service to transient aircraft on an as needed basis. For more complete descriptions of these tasks please see attached DRAFT PWS. Responding parties must indicate their business size status in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 488190, Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 4581 (size standard $6M). Sources should identify and address if they are a large, small, 8(a), woman owned, Hubzone, or otherwise classified as a small disadvantaged business in their responses. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this synopsis or to otherwise pay for the information requested. Respondents should not construe this sources sought synopsis as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose.
