- YORK POND BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, USDA Forest Service, White Mountain National Forest, NH, Coos County, Androscoggin Ranger District. Work includes the reconstuction of the railing system and approaches of the two-span concrete bridge at MP 1.70, and total replacement of the single span bridge at MP 5.43, on Forest Road FR 13 (York Pond), north of the Berlin, NH. Both are CIP concrete with concrete abutments. The new bridge will be a CIP concrete deck, including wooden and steel rails and approach rails meeting AASHTO crash requirements. PRE-BID MEETING: Wednesday, November 10, 2004, at 1:30 PM (local)at the job-site. The project sites are located at mileposts 1.70 and 5.47 of the York Pond Road 13, in Milan, NH, off of State Route 110, approximately 7-miles north of New Berlin, NH. Due to lead-time on steel purchase, and availablity of job-site, the project will not start until on/around August 22, 2005, with a performance period of 120-days.
