Description

Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, material and equipment necessary to repair warehouse floor concrete cracks, joint and surfaces within Building 2001 (Eastern Distribution Center) located at the Defense Distribution Depot Susquehanna (DDSP), New Cumberland, PA 17070. Repairs shall include spall, crack and joint repairs with polyurea materials, hardener, milling and grinding repairs and curling repairs. All repair work shall be performed during the hours of 2130 and 0600, Monday through Friday. All work shall be performed complete and in accordance with Specifications for EDC Floor Repairs dated August 2004 and Drawing Numbers 3447.01 through 3447.08. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The tentative date for issuance of solicitation SP3100-05-B-0001 for the above stated requirement is November 8, 2004. The tentative date for the bid opening is December 8, 2004. The tentative date for contract performance completion is January 10, 2006. Access to the solicitation package to include the specifications and drawings will only be made available to bidders via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.eps.gov. Hard copies of solicitation SP3100-05-B-0001 to include specifications and drawings will not be distributed. Bidders are cautioned that it is their responsibility to access the website for any amendments that may be issued under the solicitation. There will be no advance notification of amendment issue. Bidders are advised to consult the website frequently to check for the issue of amendments since an amendment may be issued up until the bid opening date and time. Failure to acknowledge amendments may render your bid non-responsive and ineligible for award. To receive awards resulting from solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, your company must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractor may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by this agency. The Government intends to award one contract as a result of this solicitation. Award will be based on the total lowest priced responsive, responsible bid submitted for all base bid items. A bidder must be determined responsible according to the standards of FAR Subpart 9 to be eligible for award. Bidders must submit a bid for all base bid items. Failure to do so will result in the bidder being considered non-responsive to the solicitation.
