- NAICS Code: 541710 NAICS Code: 541710 THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS FOR STUDENT LABORATORY SERVICES TO BE HIRED ON A CONTRACT BASIS BY THE US ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY. The solicitation number is U5RD74 (RFQ-RT-05-00018). The Chemical Exposure Research Branch within the National Exposure Research Laboratory located in Cincinnati, OH, has the need for a student contractor to assist in routine laboratory tasks. The student will prepare reagents, prepare samples for analysis, maintain a notebook of all solutions prepared, and set up procedures necessary to run samples on scientific instrumentation. The student shall perform duties, as requested, according to specifications and instructions or standard operating procedures (SOPs) provided by the mentor. The student will be expected to have a basic understanding and training in chemistry. The preferred student will be pursuing a chemistry degree from a recognized educational institution.
