- CONTACT Point of Contact Susan Weir 732 427-5722. AN/PVS-4 Carrying and Storage Case. This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for the AN/PVS-4 Carrying and Storage Case; NSN 5855-01-040-3793, p/n SM-D-850480. The carrying and storage case holds the AN-PVS-4 Night Vision Scope. The case is either a two piece aluminum alloy container or plastic case. There are top and bottom cushion inserts made of polyethylene foam. An automatic two-way relief valve is also part of the case. T he government intends to purchase this part using an indefinite quantity-indefinite delivery -IDIQ- contract over a five-year period. The government will guarantee a minimum quantity of approximately 1,500 ea, with an estimated contract quantity of 7,500 o ver the five-year period. The contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSN, or n omenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. The contractor shall cite the quality standard either Governme nt or Industry that shall be in place for this effort. The contractor must provide information to show that he possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities equipment, tooling, and space to enable him, or his subcontractors, to produce this item.
