- In the spring of 2005 Dobbins Air Reserve Base will be hosting ?Wings over Marietta,? Dobbins? Air Show. This free yearly event attracts nearly 300,000 local and Metro-Atlanta citizens for the weekend. We invite the public to see the latest in military and civilian aviation along with other military and corporate displays. Along with the activities in the air, families will be able to walk through all of our aircraft displays, listen to music provided by military bands, and enjoy other various ground attractions. Dobbins Air Reserve Base is proud to provide this event free to the public. The only groups that profit from our air show are the nonprofit organizations that staff our concessionaire booths. This permits them to raise money for their organizations. Since this is a free community event, we ask corporations to help sponsor this event. By participating as a corporate sponsor, there are many benefits: - Sponsors logo on air show publicity materials - Sponsor may hang banners on air show grounds - Space provided for sponsor company?s product - Opportunity for sponsor to conduct product sampling - And many other opportunities to spread your name to the public The purpose of ?Wings Over Marietta? is to recruit people for the military and to provide goodwill to the local community. Therefore, it would be to your company?s advantage in participating as an air show sponsor. In addition, your company will be able to advertise your product in front of approximately 300,000 people for the weekend. Also, your company will be working with a very professional air show staff that will accommodate your company?s request in any way possible.
