- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male Federal offenders located in San Diego, California area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, ?Community Corrections Center, amended through May 2004.? This is a firm-fixed unit price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity type of contract. The estimated number of beds needed are a minimum of 40 inmate bed spaces and a maximum of 70 inmate bed spaces. The following is breakdown of the requirements: Base Year: 02/01/2006 - 01/31/2007, Minimum Guaranteed inmate days - 14,600, estimated maximum of 25,550 inmate days; Option Year 1: 02/01/2007 - 01/31/2008, Minimum Guaranteed inmate days - 14,600, estimated maximum of 25,550 inmate days; Option Year 2: 02/01/2008 - 01/31/2009, Minimum Guaranteed inmate days - 14,640, estimated maximum of 25,620 inmate days; Option year 3: 02/01/2009 - 01/31/2010, Minimum Guaranteed inmate days - 14,600, estimated maximum of 25,550 inmate days; and Option Year 4: 02/01/2010 - 01/31/2011, Minimum Guaranteed inmate days - 14,600, estimated maximum of 25,550 inmate days. This facility shall be located not more than 20 miles from the Federal Metropolitan Correctional Center located at the intersection of Union and ?F? Streets, San Diego, California. Performance to start February 1, 2006. The solicitation will be available on or about November 30, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP200-0847-WR will be on or about January 31, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
