- ***REVISION TO ISSUE DATE. NEW ISSUE DATE IS OCTOBER 25TH 2004 WITH A NEW CLOSING DATE OF NOVEMBER 26TH 2004.Request for Proposal (RFP) Solicitation for NSN 4010-00-129-6049, RE042230030000, Chain, Welded, I/A/W Drawing 13783-03-0001. This item is used in a Mercury Free Environment and must adhere to the requirements as specified in the drawing. A copy of this drawing is available at http://www.dscr.dla.mil/Qap/Qaps.htm (all lower case). A Technical Data Package (TDP) is available for this NSN. This procurement is solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside Utilizing Full and Open Competition. Solicitation is issued to result in a LTC with one base year and four option periods. FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. QAP 001 applies. Requested delivery is 90 days ARO for the first shipment and 50 days ARO for each subsequent shipment. A Surge Plan is required for this NSN. This solicitation will be made available for issue on or about October 12, 2004 and will close November 12, 2004. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
