Description
RFI FOR GSA-WIDE MARKETING A-76 COMPETITION The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to determine interest and capabilities involving the agency-wide Competitive Sourcing Study of the General Services Administration (GSA) Marketing function which was formally announced via FedBizOpps on September 21, 2004. Any responses to this request should identify whether your firm is a large business, small business, 8(a), SDB, etc. It is anticipated that the resulting acquisition will be solicited on an unrestricted basis, utilizing NAICS code series 5418, with a size standard of $6M. The acquisition will be solicited for a base year, with four, one-year option periods. It is anticipated that a 6 month phase-in period will be required. The tasks under study are currently being performed by government personnel throughout the United States in each of GSA?s services and business lines and consists of the following: 1) Market Research and Analysis; 2) Product/Service Offering Development and Management; 3) Promotions; and 4) Marketing Strategy and Planning. A further breakdown of these tasks and a definition of in-scope and out of scope activities are included as an attachment to this RFI. Additionally, functions can include, but are not limited to: Advertising Services; Commercial Art and Graphic Design Services; Exhibit Design and Implementation Services; Conference Events and Tradeshow Planning Services; Customized Strategic Marketing Plans Development Services; Branding Analysis, Planning, and Implementation Support Services; Target Market Identification; New Product Planning and Roll-Out Support, and Focus Group Facilitation. Interested offerors are asked to provide a written response to this RFI notice and each of the questions in the attached questionnaire, to the Contracting Officer, Mr. Victor Angkico, via email at victor.angkico@gsa.gov on or about November 01, 2004. There is no obligation on the part of any offeror to respond to this RFI. A lack of response will not affect in any way an offeror?s ability to respond to any future RFIs or Requests for Proposals.
