- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites bids on a solicitation for the construction of an Administration Building/Visitor Contact Station at the Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge, located at 3982 Waverly Road in Williamstown, WV (Wood County). This is an unrestricted procurement in accordance with Public Law 100-656 and is open to any size business. The work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new 6,000 square foot wood framed building, all site work, concrete work including foundation, walls, slabs and sidewalks, masonry, rough and finished carpertry, metal fabrications, roof systems, doors and windows, painting and finishes, all electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems and asphalt concrete pavement and landscaping to provide a complete and operational facility. Estimated magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. Contractors are given the option to start the work immediately after award or a date of the Contractor's choosing no later than April 5, 2005. The construction period will be 365 calendar days from the date that the Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date is on or about December 2, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. All requests must be submitted to the address above or FAX to (413) 253-8450. Telephonic requests will not be accepted. Any request for a solicitation package shall include the company name, address, telephone number, name of the point of contact, and shall be identified by the solicitation number and the title shown above.
