- The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB, CA, is soliciting offers to provide upgrade to Photo-Sonics 1PLs High-Speed Cameras to 3000 series. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA4610-05-T-0001 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation incorporates Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219 and the size standard is $6M. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The project is to fully refurbish 15 each Photo-Sonics 1PL Cameras including the motors and install new style electronics, which will include the phases-lock feature. Includes adding new FDRS Driver, install 7-segment LED 2X5 format data matrix if required, rework camera body for new electronics, install new digital electronics servo board with microprocessor controller, replace power amp with new fail-safe amp, replace bearings as required, install new AC heater and thermostat Assembly Paint camera and black anodize or metal etch, if required, remove and install new pigtail wiring harness and PCB harness assembly, install new shutter sensor assembly, rework camera drive motor, which will increase torque and efficiency to allow greater accuracy during phase lock operations, and a final test. Delivery shall be 120 days ARO. The provision at FAR 52.212-1-- Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items (Jan 2004) apply to this acquisition. Addenda to paragraph (c): Quote is valid for 60 days from the date of the quote.
