- 16?HEAD ASSEMBLY. ITEM NSN: 1650-00-550-0068, PART NUMBER: 86474. Applicable to: F15A-E Aircraft. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. The Government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price Spares Contract for 16 each of the above Stock Number/Part Number. The approximate solicitation (FA8103-05-Q-0031) issue date will be 1 Nov 2004. The approximate closing date will be 30 Nov 2004. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources is not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed of otherwise obtained. Hydro Air Division, Crane Company is the only known source that can satisfy the Government?s requirement. Qualification Requirements are available! Surplus Material IS ACCEPTABLE. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
