- 16?DAMPENER, FLUTTER. ITEM NSN: 1650-00-863-5141, PART NUMBER: 5-88763-10. Applicable to: KC135. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. The Government is contemplating a three year requirements contract, 1 basic year with 2 one year options. CLIN 0001AA: Basic Year, BEQ 122 each, Delivery: 30 Each, on or before May 2005, 30 each per month until complete. CLIN 0001AB: Option 1, Year Two, BEQ 28 each, Delivery: 28 each TBD. CLIN: 0001AC: Option 2, Year Three, BEQ 25 each, Delivery 25 each TBD. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 9 Sept 2004. The approximate closing date will be 22 Oct 2004. This item is suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time. The Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. Engineering Data List and Engineering Notes are available. The Data list and Engineer Notes will be attached to the solicitation. Surplus Material is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
