Sources should be interchangeable and not minimally depend on transmission of other optical components. Initial instrument to be supplied with 790nm source with delivery and installation of additional sources within 120 days. Ability to quantitate OCT retinal thickness total and layers. Metric for quantification of OCT total and layer thickness. Software to allow image reference calibration and caliper measurement of specific areas of the retina under study. Software to write user defined patterns to the fixation source and/or to the SLO raster to be delivered within 120 days from installation of hardware. Open architecture design to permit future modification to adaptive optics technology for imaging cellular detail within retinal layers for both OCT and CSLO formats. The model to be supplied includes a chinrest. Input Port for external laser source to the SLO/OCT in parallel with OEM source. 12-16 scans/minute capture rate (non-stacked mode), 64 scan/min for stacked mode. One year service contract to include onsite maintenance for parts, labor, and software with onsite operator training for two investigators and technicians.
