- Description
- This is a commercial acquisition conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 15. Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies, and transportation to provide crown and bridge work for the VA Medical Center, Miami ? FL, and the Oakland Park Outpatient Clinic, Oakland Park ? FL. Service will consist of pick up of molds at the Miami VA Medical Center, manufacturing of oral prostheses, and delivery of completed work back to the VA. The completed work shall include the following: porcelain fused to metal crowns, full metal crowns, cast post and cores, porcelain fused to metal abutments, porcelain fused to metal pontics, full metal abutments, full metal pontics, and porcelain veneers. All transportation charges will be at the expense of the manufacturer. The contract period will consist of one base year, plus two one-year options. This acquisition will be issued as a Total Small Business Set Aside, Code 339116, Size 500. This acquisition will utilize the Best Value Source Selection Method of procurement, with the following evaluation factors: Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price. Technical Capability and Past Performance when combined are more important than price. The Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror, whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The offeror is responsible for downloading all amendments and other documents from the BOS website without further notices from the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, Miami FL.
