- The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), Stennis Space Center MS intends to negotiate only with CelAir Corporation of Norcross, GA for the purchase of 400 each Amcell batteries with two options to purchase additional quantities of 400 each. The batteries are Cegasa/Amcell P/N: 2AS10-2 and are a fixed 3 volt DC non rechargeable (primary) type, with a gelled electrolyte and a 1200 ampere-hour capacity. The batteries are capable of 0.5A continuous current and can sustain a >3A surge for over two minutes every half hour, until depleted. See Notes 1 and 22.
