Description
MODIFICATION TO PREVIOUS SYNOPSIS: NSN: 8415-01-319-5113(s), Gloves, Intermediate Cold Wet, Quantity: Base Year 90,000 PR Minimum, 500,000 PR Maximum. Plus three one-year term options Quantity: 90,000 PR Minimum and 500,000 PR Maximum. Multiple awards will be made for this procurement. The awards will be split into 50%, 30% and 20%. The 50% and 20% will be Unrestricted and the 30% will be Small Business Set-Aside. This procurement will utilize the Best Value method of source selection. Technical proposals submitted are required to include Product Demonstration Models (PDMs), Experience/Past Performance, Socioeconomic, DLA Mentoring Agreement and JWOD Entity Act. Product Demonstration Model Requirement: Two (2) pairs. Shall be in accordance with Mil-G-44419 dated 9 Oct 1990, Deliveries will be starting 165 days After Date of Award to New Cumberland, PA and Tracy, CA depots. FOB Destination. Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. All materials used in the fabrication are to be furnished by the successful bidder. This solicitation will contain DOMESTIC RESTRICTIONS, which means all components and all manufacturing must be obtained/performed within the United States. All contractors MUST be registered in the CCR in order to be eligible for award. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(a)(7) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at https://progate.daps.mil/home after 19 Oct 04. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as The Berry Amendment impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012 and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
