Description
The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the following items. 001: Cylinder Assembly, Actuating, Linear 64? extended length: 42? compressed length, double acting, 6? bore. Counter balance valve included. Special features, paint: all metal surfaces intended for paint shall be clean, dry, and free of contamination. The paint system shall include a primer, mid-coat, and finish coat. The primer coat shall be 3-4 mils dry film thickness (DFT) of a rust preventive zinc rich metal primer that is compatible with the mid coat. A mid-coat of polysilosane shall be applied 1-2 mils dft. The finish coat shall be 5-6 mils dft of polysilosane. Color of finish coat shall be in accordance with federal standard 595b color number 10371 (spar). Total paint thickness shall be 9 mils minimum dry film. P/N 47045 Quantity 04 each 002: Cylinder Assembly, double acting twin cylinder. Cylinder shall include required hydraulic tubing weldment, 4 each nitron wear pads P/N 40347, wear pad fittings P/N 40348 (welded to weldment), and 4 each cap screws P/N 201635. P/N 39249 quantity 01 AY All Items Manufactured by: Allied Systems Company. The due date for submission on quotations shall be no later than November 05, 2004. FOB Destination, delivery to the USCG ELC, Warehouse Receiving Room Bldg. #88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS OR SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. Quotation shall include; proposed delivery in days, pricing for all items, company tax identification number and duns number. Offerors must also fill out and return far clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (June 2003). All responsible sources may submit a quotation which if timely received shall be considered by this agency. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with subpart 12-6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR 2004. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333120 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
