Description
COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT. This notice constitutes the formal announcement and commencement of the A-76 standard competition for ISC Public Works (FAIR Act codes: E120, S200 and S310) in accordance with attachment B, paragraph B.1 (page B-3) of the Revised OMB Circular A-76, dated 29 May 2003. DHS intends to compete approximately 39 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Public Works positions for the Integrated Support Command (ISC) Public Works Division in Boston, MA. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO)is Mr. Robert Horowitz; Contracting Officer (KO), Mrs. Jeanie Thorne; and Agency Tender Official (ATO), CDR Vann Young. The projected award date of this competition is no later than September 30, 2005. A solicitation is expected to be issued on or about March 1, 2005 so that the determination can be finalized by September 30, 2005. The USCG anticipated contract type is firm fixed price with some IDIQ line item portions of work. Prior to solicitation release, draft documents will be available at the Coast Guard website http:www.uscg.mil/mlclant/fdiv/fdiv.html for comment. Interested parties are urged to provide questions, comments, and recommendations on all postings. All questions, comments, recommendations, and answers will be posted accordingly. No deviations to the circular have been requested. This is not a Request for Proposal and in no way obligates the Government. This announcement of competition is to provide timely notification to contractors.
