Description
COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT. This notice constitutes the formal announcement and commencement of the A-76 standard competition for Facilities Engineering Division (FAIR Act code S200) in accordance with Attachment B, Paragraph B.1 (page B-3) of the Revised OMB Circular A-76, dated 29 May 2003. DHS intends to compete approximately 30 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Public Works positions for the Integrated Support Command (ISC) Facilities Engineering Division in Portsmouth, VA. This competition will be conducted by the U. S. Coast Guard MLCA in Norfolk, Virginia. In accordance with Attachment B, Part B.1 of OMB Circular A-76 dated May 29, 2003, the following additional information is provided: The USCG Competitive Sourcing Official is Mr. Robert Horowitz; the Contracting Officer is Mrs. Jeanie Thorne; the Agency Tender Official is CDR Robert Stohlman. The projected award date of this competition is no later than September 30, 2005. A solicitation is expected to be issued on or about March 1, 2005 so that the determination can be finalized by September 30, 2005. The anticipated contract type is firm fixed price with some IDIQ line item portions of work. Prior to solicitation release, draft documents will be posted on FedBizOpps for comment. Interested parties are urged to provide questions, comments, and recommendations on all postings. All questions, comments, recommendations, and answers will be posted accordingly. A draft performance work statement will be available at http:www.uscg.mil/mlclant/fdiv/fdiv.html on or about January 7, 2005 and the solicitation is expected on or about March 1, 2005. No deviations to the circular have been requested.
