- RESPONSE DATE IS CHANGED TO 10/21/2004. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center has a requirement for dock space for Marine Training boats. Docks must have launch facilities/equipment. Boats must be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The marina area shall be large enough to allow a 45 passenger bus to enter and leave the facility without significant difficulty. Water must be brackish to inhibit marine growth on the hulls of boats. The marina must be within Glynn County and no further than 10 miles from the Glynco facility. The following dock/storage space is required. (1) 150 feet of T-Dock, 12 months; (2) 25 foot wet slips, 10 each, 12 months; (3) 35 foot wet slips, 3 each, 12 months; (4) dry storage, 2 each, 12 months; and, (5) electrical shore power, 3 each, 12 months. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 10/8/2004. A copy will be uploaded to the FedBizOps website (www.eps.gov). This is a simplified acquisition purchase using the procedures at FAR 13.
